Samatowtrucks.se is the online presence of Såma Bilbärgning AB, a family-owned towing company in Örebro that claims to have been in business since 1965. The site features their towing services and also sells tow truck equipment from a Dutch manufacturer. On the surface, it looks like a legitimate local business: a 14-year-old domain registered through a well-known Swedish registrar, clean security checks, and real contact information including a phone number. That said, there are two things worth noting for anyone considering using their services or contacting them online. First, the site lacks a privacy policy and terms of service. For a Swedish company operating under GDPR, that's a compliance gap – even if they don't take online payments, they likely collect personal data through their contact form or phone calls. Second, there's no social media presence or third-party reviews we could find, which makes it harder to gauge recent customer experiences. Samatowtrucks.se reviews from real customers aren't available on platforms like Trustpilot. Is samatowtrucks.se a scam? Probably not – the domain history and clean technical signals suggest an operating business. But is it safe to share your personal information? We'd recommend calling them directly at the number provided rather than using the website form until legal pages appear. Overall, treat it as a real business with missing paperwork.
In plain English
Samatowtrucks.se appears to be a genuine family-run towing business in Ă–rebro, Sweden with a 14-year-old domain and clean security record. The main reason to hesitate is the lack of a privacy policy and terms of service, which is a legal requirement under EU law. If you're just calling for a tow, that's probably fine, but avoid sharing personal data through the site's contact form until they add proper disclosures.
Where the score comes from
The site uses a valid SSL certificate and modern TLS, with no blacklist or malware flags. It doesn't set common browser protections like clickjacking prevention, but that's not unusual for a small local business.
The domain is 14 years old and registered through a reputable Swedish registrar. The WHOIS shows a holder code rather than full personal details, which is standard for private individuals in Sweden.
No blacklists or Google Safe Browsing flags. No Trustpilot or social media presence, but the long domain history and clean record suggest a legitimate operation with no online complaints.
Contact information (phone number) is clearly shown, and the homepage tells the company's history and services. There's no dedicated About page, but the information is still available on the front page.
This is a Swedish commercial business, so EU GDPR requires a privacy policy. None is present, nor are terms of service. That's a real gap, though the site doesn't process payments online.
Technical setup is solid: DNSSEC enabled, email authentication configured, a proper sitemap, and reliable hosting on Loopia. Nothing to worry about here.
